Locally the way in which you can access some of your GP services is changing with the introduction of:

  • Integrated Primary Care Access Service
  • Same Day Access Services
  • GP provided phlebotomy tests (blood taking)
  • Online access (eConsult)
  • Online appointment booking
  • Online prescription requests
  • Long term condition clinics
  • Care navigators.

Fareham and Gosport Clinical Commissioning Group and Southern Hampshire Primary Care Alliance would welcome hearing your thoughts on these services as they may make changes to how and where they services based on what local people say.

Nurse Practitioners

Our nurse practitioner runs independent clinics for minor illness. She is able to fully assess patients and offer treatment and advice. She has immediate access to the doctors if the condition needs further input. 

10:00 – 12:00 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.


Two nursing sisters work in the two treatment rooms in the surgery and offer the following services:

  • Immunisations
  • Dietary Advice
  • General Health Checks
  • Advice on Menopause
  • Asthma Care
  • Dressings
  • Diabetic Care
  • Ear Syringing
  • Heart Disease Prevention
  • Cervical Smears
  • Stop Smoke Support and Medication

Healthcare Assistants

Our phlebotomist/HCA assistant offers the following services: 

  • Blood Tests
  • Blood Pressure
  • Dressings
  • ECGs
  • Spirometry 
  • Health Checks
  • Removal of stitches
